Adventures
misty · Tue, Mar 8, 2016Another day at home, this time because I had a mild tummy ache most of the day. I don’t like to wear the ergo when my tummy is hurting because of all the pressure it puts on my stomach, and we don’t have a good system in place for using the stroller yet (it’s heavy and I can’t carry both Milo and the stroller up and down the stairs). So it was an indoor day again.
Milo’s adventures:
She started pulling out drawers in the living room (though they’re heavy and she’s weak, so she hasn’t gotten them all the way out just yet.)
She pulled the yoga mat off of the subwoofer. It fell partially on top of her, so she got freaked out a bit.
She pulled up a good portion of the floor mat tiles again (she does this almost daily now). I am trying to teach her how to bang them against things, but she hasn’t picked up on this yet.
She found the AppleTV remote and got it into her mouth.
She half stood on her wooden box (it normally has blocks in it, but it was empty this time), with her hands on the box and her butt in the air. Then she (accidentally? on purpose?) pushed the box over to the bolster like it was a walker.
I’m sure there are more things, but that’s what I can remember at this point. This evening, she also got to try banana for the first time, and she seemed to really enjoy it. She ate it right up!
Tonight, we all went out to pick up dinner on Haight, and Milo was curious as ever, due in no small part, I’m sure, to the fact that I have been staying inside with her for a couple of days. It was cool out, and Milo was eager to look at the lights and people.
Notes:
- Milo woke up twice last night and slept until about 7am today, which is about how things have been going lately. So sleep is good, in general.
