Sonoma
misty · Sun, Oct 18, 2015A while ago, I saw an article online that said Sonoma Valley was a good place to see fall colors. So, Chase and I set out to take a drive in the North Bay this morning. Milo has been pretty good in the car lately, so we figured it would be nice to get out and spend some time out of the apartment (and the city).
Milo was great in the car - we started out with doughnuts at Bob’s, then headed up to the San Rafael Farmer’s Market (where we ran into Mami and bought some Mami’s Crunch), then drove up to Sonoma. Milo got a little fussed in the car, but lately she’s soothed by sucking on my finger (still refuses the pacifier) until she can fall asleep or we get moving again.
Unfortunately, there were no real fall colors in Sonoma yet. I think we were too early. We decided to walk around the town square, and we ended up getting some sandwiches and ice cream.
Notes:
- Today marked the first day that Milo was really fussy in the Moby wrap. She demanded to be let out when Chase was carrying her, then I wrapped her and she again demanded to be out. It may have been due to hunger. I hope it’s not a trend.
- Chase and Milo made a lot of ladies swoon today, as he carried her around Sonoma while she slept. They’re so cute!
